• For our guests travelling from abroad, you can get here by plane, train, or car.

By plane - We recommend flying into Brussels Airport. From there, there are frequent direct trains to Gent-Sint-Pieters. From Gent-Sint-Pieters, it’s easy to take a taxi or tram to your accommodation. Brussels Charleroi can be cheaper, but it’s less convenient and adds quite a bit of travel time to reach Ghent.

By train - Most international trains arrive at Brussels-Midi. From there, there are frequent direct trains to Gent-Sint-Pieters (around 30 minutes). From Gent-Sint-Pieters, it’s easy to take a taxi or tram to your accommodation.

By car - Simply head directly to wherever you’ve booked your accommodation.

  • There are two main options: Ghent or somewhere closer to the venue: Wittemoer 84, Evergem.

  • Ghent has plenty of accommodation, food, and coffee options, and it’s a lovely city to spend a bit of time in. Everything is close by (except the venue): easy to walk, easy to bike, and no car needed.

If you choose Ghent, we recommend staying in the city centre, not on the outskirts. There are lots of options, so have a look around — and feel free to send us the location before booking if you’d like us to check whether it’s convenient.

  • The venue is at Wittemoer 84, Evergem. It’s a more rural setting, with some lovely B&Bs surrounded by green — a few even have pools or saunas.

It’s a really nice option if you’re looking for something calm and close by to the wedding venue. The only thing to keep in mind is that getting around without a car takes a bit more planning. Taxis and Ubers are available though, and many B&Bs offer bikes.

If you’re considering staying nearby, just message us — we have a list of great accommodation options in the area to make it easier.

  • No matter where you decide to stay, we’d love to make getting to and from the venue on Saturday 29 August as easy as possible for those travelling from abroad.

Depending on where everyone is staying, we’ll organise either a shuttle or taxis. We’ll share more details closer to the date, once we have a clearer picture of everyone’s plans.

    1. Plan how you’ll get here: plane, train, or car
